Brendan Kelleher is Chief Compliance Officer and Head of AI Governance & Ethics at SoftBank Group International, a leading global investor in the technologies powering the AI revolution. Brendan leads groupwide compliance initiatives and oversees AI governance across SoftBank’s portfolio outside Japan. He also heads the firm’s internal AI governance program, shaping how SoftBank engages with and invests in frontier AI technologies. His work centers on the intersection of AI, ethics, and global regulatory frameworks. Brendan holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and is based in California.
