About the IAPP

Mayank Ahuja is Director of Engineering at LinkedIn focusing on privacy engineering and data governance. He leads multiple teams creating secure, high-availability privacy infrastructure operating at scale. He built a centralized, purpose-based privacy platform from the ground up, enabling automatic and consistent enforcement of data policies across LinkedIn’s data ecosystem. Prior to LinkedIn, he led engineering and product of Qubole's cloud-based distributed data processing and data science platform. As a founding engineer, he also developed the industry's first managed autoscaling Hadoop clusters and holds multiple patents in the cloud data processing field.
