About the IAPP

Oona is passionate about developing business through digitalization and new technologies - without forgetting data protection nor privacy. Oona works as the Data Protection Officer in the media sector, but she has worked as a consultant for most of her career. During the years, she has helped several organizations with development projects, implemented data protection management models and addressed issues related to the coordination of data protection and artificial intelligence. In addition to consulting, Oona has a background in the role of Data Protection Manager in HR, where she was responsible for the data protection of employees and job applicants in a global forest company. Oona's mission is to communicate and spread awareness amongst recent ICT trends and regulatory matters in a language that everyone can understand.
