Jayson Lewis, CIPP/E, CIPP/US

Jayson Lewis is Director, Data Privacy at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where he is responsible for the Firm’s data privacy strategy and global legal and regulatory compliance efforts.
Prior to joining Davis Polk, Jayson practiced at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP and advised clients across industries on legal, regulatory, and policy issues in the areas of privacy, data protection, and data security. Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Jayson held in-house roles at LinkedIn and Nielsen and provided day-to-day counsel on a wide range of privacy and data protection matters. At LinkedIn, he provided legal and strategic advice on various privacy issues, with a focus on compliance with U.S. state privacy laws, including the CCPA, and the privacy aspects of digital advertising. At Nielsen, he advised on privacy issues on a global scale and played a key role in implementing the company’s strategy and program for compliance with the GDPR and the CCPA. Earlier in his career, Jayson worked at PwC and Deloitte, where he focused on privacy and data protection issues.
Jayson holds a J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Georgetown University.
